About Our Swimming Pool Construction

Building an Olympic or commercial swimming pool requires precise concrete engineering, reliable water chemistry control, and robust waterproofing.

Elite International Sports is a specialist sports engineering company providing turnkey pool design and construction. We construct structural concrete (RCC) pool shells that withstand massive hydrostatic pressure from ground water and internal water weight. Every pool is engineered with advanced hydraulic designs to prevent dead zones, optimize chemical dispersal, and maintain consistent temperature.

Our installations utilize premium commercial-grade sand filters, automated chlorine/ozone disinfection plants, and safety accessories like anti-skid ceramic tiles and soft deck surrounds. By adhering to World Aquatics (formerly FINA) specifications for court length, depth, lane width, and water temperature, we build world-class competitive pools suitable for regional, national, and international tournaments.

Beyond the physical concrete shell, our pool systems integrate energy-efficient variables like variable-speed circulation pumps, automated backwashing valves, and LED underwater light fixtures, ensuring long-term operational efficiency and low lifecycle maintenance costs for universities, sports academies, and resorts.

Olympic-Grade Pool Construction

System Overview

Complete Service Overview

We manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial soil testing and structural design to civil excavation, concrete casting, chemical testing, and final handover.

The construction of commercial swimming pools begins with a geotechnical study to determine soil load capacity and water table levels. We design double-mesh reinforced concrete (RCC) shells utilizing M30/M40 grade waterproofing concrete. This prevents cracks and ensures a structure that stands up to decades of soil movement.

For water treatment, we design systems with high-rate sand filtration coupled with ozone generators and salt chlorinators. Water is drawn through deck overflow channels and bottom main drains, pushed through the filtration system, treated, and returned through floor inlets. This creates a continuous water circulation cycle, ensuring clean, safe water.

Waterproofing is applied via a multi-layer elastomeric coating directly over the concrete shell. Once cured, we finish the pool with anti-slip, frost-proof vitrified ceramic tiles grouted with chemical-resistant epoxy grout, preventing tile pop-ups or algae growth in joints.

Mechanical & Civil Workflow

  • Hydrostatic Relief: Installation of hydrostatic valves in main drains to prevent pool flotation when the shell is emptied.
  • Overflow System: Perimeter deck overflow grating system for rapid wave dampening and water skimming.
  • Ozone Disinfection: Secondary sanitization using gaseous ozone loop, reducing chlorine dependency by 80%.
  • Thermal Regulation: Heat pumps and titanium heat exchangers to maintain water temperature at 25°C to 28°C for athletic comfort.
