The engineering of a professional badminton post starts with column stability. Our posts are fabricated from 4.0mm thick heavy-wall steel sections to prevent vertical deflection when the net is tightened. We seal the metal surfaces with chemical rust-inhibitors and bake on a durable polyester powder coat.
For portable setups, the base is cast with solid iron counterweights and equipped with caster wheels. The base dimensions are engineered to sit completely outside the 20mm outer boundary lines, preventing obstruction hazards for jumping athletes.
We equip net posts with heavy-duty brass winches and cord locks. This allows court referees to adjust and maintain the net height at exactly 1.55 meters at the posts and 1.524 meters at the center.
